Mourinho Set for Stunning Real Madrid Return

José Mourinho is reportedly on the verge of a sensational return to Real Madrid after reaching a verbal agreement to become the club’s next manager, according to multiple reports.

The Portuguese tactician, famously known as “The Special One,” is said to have agreed to an initial two-year contract with the Spanish giants, pending the completion and signing of the necessary documents.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported on X on Monday that Mourinho is expected to travel to Madrid after Real Madrid’s final La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao, where the remaining formalities will be finalized before an official announcement is made.

“All terms have been verbally agreed between José Mourinho and Real Madrid, waiting to sign all documents. Plan for initial two-year deal, JM to travel to Madrid after Real-Bilbao game. The Special One is back,” Romano posted.

If confirmed, the appointment would mark Mourinho’s second spell at Real Madrid, more than a decade after his first stint from 2010 to 2013. During that period, he guided the club to La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Spanish Super Cup triumphs.

Although Real Madrid have yet to issue an official statement, excitement is already growing among supporters over the possible return of one of football’s most celebrated and high-profile managers.

The club is expected to confirm the development in the coming days once all contractual formalities have been completed.
