Former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Mr. Peter Obi, has described the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, as a beacon of peace, humility, and national unity.
Obi, who came to the defence of the revered cleric amid recent public discussions, said Adeboye remains one of Nigeria’s foremost spiritual leaders whose messages have consistently promoted peace and reconciliation.
“Let me state clearly that Pastor Enoch Adeboye remains one of the foremost fathers of faith in our nation,” Obi said.
“For decades, he has consistently preached the virtues of peace, prayer, love, reconciliation, and national unity. Even when faced with provocation, his response has always reflected humility, restraint, wisdom, and grace.”
