Series #22: Jungle Justice Is Still Injustice

No individual or group has the right to take the law into their own hands. Regardless of the allegation or severity of a suspected offence, punishment is not the duty of the crowd. It belongs strictly to constituted authorities operating under the law.

Every suspect, no matter the accusation, retains the right to life and due process. Once apprehended, they must be safely handed over to law enforcement agencies, who will in turn ensure proper investigation and judicial handling.

Unfortunately, mob action has become common in some communities. In many cases, individuals who are not directly involved in an incident join in violent acts without understanding the facts. This behaviour undermines justice and often leads to irreversible consequences.

Such actions can also be manipulated or influenced, making it even more dangerous for society. When justice is replaced by instant violence, the rule of law is weakened and insecurity increases.

A secure mind does not participate in or support mob action. It understands that true justice is deliberate, lawful, and fair. Communities become safer when individuals choose restraint over chaos and law over emotion.

Justice must never be replaced with brutality.

Just be good. Reflect. Stay alert.
