Olanrewaju Saka Succeeds Onasanya as Ogun Head of Service

 



Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has approved the appointment of Mr. Olanrewaju Iskeel Saka as the new Head of the State Public Service following the retirement of the immediate past Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya.

Before his appointment, Saka served as the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Cabinet and Special Services, where he contributed significantly to policy coordination and government administration.

Saka began his career in the Ogun State Public Service as a Classroom Teacher on Grade Level 08 on May 15, 1993, before transferring to the mainstream civil service in 2006 as a Senior Administrative Officer on Grade Level 09.

Born on February 15, 1968, Saka is widely regarded as a seasoned administrator with vast experience in public sector management and policy implementation.

He is a member of several professional bodies, including the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), and also a Fellow of the Institute of Policy Management Development.

According to a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, the appointment recognises Saka’s dedication, commitment, hard work, and meritorious service to the Ogun State Public Service.
