As Muslims all over the world celebrate Eid El Kabir for the year 2026, the Executive Chairman, Abeokuta South Local Government Ake, Hon.Olaniyi Afeez Balogun has felicitated the Muslim faithful on the occasion of this year's Eid El Kabir.
The Chairman explained that, the religion of Islam is a religion of peace, sacrifice, kindness, love and unity,hence, he enjoined Muslim faithful across the Local Government Area to celebrate moderately, not to forget where they are coming from, and continue to pray for the peace and tranquility of the Country, considering the state of insecurity in Nigeria. He therefore, charged all and sundry to be security conscious during and after the celebration.
He thereafter prayed that Almighty Allah bless, and reward their sacrifices abundantly and bring peace, joy, and renewed blessings to the premier Local Government and the Nation as a whole.
